  3. Chuck Hobson Completes Edition of St. George Tucker

Past ADE president Chuck Hobson has completed work on his edition of St. George Tucker’s Law Reports and Selected Papers, 1782-1825 (3 vols., Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture), and its publication will be celebrated by a reception at the William and Mary Law School on 22 January. Phil Chase writes “As Chuck says this is the third act of his editing life. He made major contributions to the editing of the Papers of James Madison before going on to edit (and complete!) the Papers of John Marshall and now the St. George Tucker edition. Current and future historians and legal scholars will be grateful to be able to base their work on his.”
