coloniaLab is a workshop for the collaborative editing of manuscripts and rare books related to early Latin America. We seek to produce accurate and accessible versions, and we also reflect on theoretical aspects of the digital editing of colonial and nineteenth-century texts. coloniaLab is, in part, a pedagogical initiative in which more than 100 students from the University of North Florida have participated.
