Records of the Moravians in North Carolina is a multi-volume documentary series published by the North Carolina Historical Commission (later Department of Archives and History) that contains translations and transcriptions of Moravian congregational records, diaries, and official registers spanning 1752 to 1876.

Edited initially by Adelaide Fries and continued by successors, the series includes thirteen volumes, all of which are available as searchable PDFs via the Internet Archive. These records offer firsthand insights into religious life, community dynamics, demographics, and daily experiences, including births, marriages, deaths, weather, travel notes, and architectural observations.

As part of the Moravian Archives in Winston‑Salem, researchers can access finding aids online or conduct in-person research supported by staff and public programming. The volumes are essential for understanding colonial and early American social history, religious practice, and cultural preservation in North Carolina’s Moravian settlements.
