The National Endowment for the Humanities recently awarded to the University of Mary Washington a grant of just under $3,000,000 outright over five years in support of The Papers of James Monroe. The grant will cover salary and benefits for four new full-time professional staff members—two volume editors and two volume co-editors—to join current staff in preparing for publication the last three of the ten volumes in the series.

Two hiring searches for positions with The Papers of James Monroe are now posted on the University of Mary Washington Jobs webpage at https://jobs.umw.edu/jobs/search, one for two volume editors and the other for two volume co-editors.

The priority screening deadline for both searches is April 6.
