The OAH is coordinating a two-component study of African American Schools in the South, 1865-1900, through a cooperative agreement with the National Park Service. We are seeking a Principal Investigator (or investigators) to lead the case study component of the project.

The project is fully funded and already underway, and we are seeking a principal investigator who can start immediately and commit to an expected 24-month timeline.

For more information on the scope of the project, please visit the project page on the OAH website. To express your interest, please contact the OAH Public History Department at nps@oah.org no later than January 11, 2020.

P.S. Don’t forget to renew your OAH membership to continue receiving announcements like these.
