ADE Annual Meeting to be Rescheduled

  2. ADE Annual Meeting to be Rescheduled

As the impact of COVID19 appears to expand every day, the ADE Council has determined that hosting the association’s annual conference this June could pose too great a risk to attendees. By initiating the change at this time, before a contract has been signed for the conference venue, we will also avoid financial losses for the organization. We hope that this decision is also timely enough to save attendees from committing travel funds that would be difficult to recover.

This is not a decision we have made lightly. We understand that the professional and social connections that take place at this meeting are important to the health and productivity of our organization, of our profession, and of our shared principles. However, we must honor the responsibility that lies with us for protecting your health and that of your loved ones.

The Council will undertake to formulate the best options for rescheduling the conference portion of the meeting, and we will review the options for conducting annual organizational business. We look forward to communicating the details as we work them out—and reconnecting for our usual sharing of ideas and conviviality in the future.
