The Institute of English Studies (the IES) is offering two opportunities that might be of interest to ADE members.

Dr. Christopher Ohge, a lecturer in Digital Approaches to Literature at the IES, is offering an online short course on Digital Scholarly Editing from 3-7 May 2021. The course will survey the traditions and principles of scholarly editing and textual scholarship, while providing training in the fundamentals of creating digital editions.

The IES is also holding a virtual symposium from 22-30 April 2021, entitled “Creative, Critical, Editing.” The symposium will include a virtual roundtable followed by interactive workshops where attendees will be able to try out editing in new forms.
