The Historical Research Office of the North Carolina Office of Archives & History seeks to hire a historian/editor for the NC Civil War Roster Project. This work is an inventory of the state’s Confederate and United States troops which first went to press in 1966 and is currently in its twenty-first volume. This position will help advance work on United States and USCT units and soldiers.

This is a full-time permanent position with benefits. The position is based at the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources building in downtown Raleigh, NC.
