 Princeton University seeks a distinguished documentary scholar to serve as General Editor of the Papers of Thomas Jefferson (see http://jeffersonpapers.princeton.edu/). The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. and extensive experience in documentary editing, demonstrated skills in both textual editing and editorial management, an awareness of ongoing developments in the digital humanities, and scholarly command of early nineteenth century American history. We have a strong preference for candidates who both hold a Ph.D. degree in history with a specialty in the early American republic and have previous experience managing a documentary editorial project.
