ADE 2016 Conference – hotel reservation deadline
Registration is open for the Association for Documentary Editing’s 2016 Conference, “Celebrate the Vibrancy of Documentary Editing,” to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, from August 4-6, 2016. The draft schedule is available here.

The conference will also feature a breakfast talk given by Erin M. Greenwald, curator and historian at The Historic New Orleans Collection. She is curator and project director of the NEH-funded traveling exhibition Purchased Lives: The American Slave Trade from 1808 to 1865, which was originally on view at the Historic New Orleans Collection as Purchased Lives: New Orleans and the Domestic Slave Trade, 1808–1865. Greenwald was also a co-organizer of the 2015 NEH-sponsored symposium “To Be Sold: The American Slave Trade from Virginia to New Orleans.”
