The Association for Documentary Editing (ADE) is pleased to announce the resident faculty for the 44th Institute for the Editing of Historical Documents to be held 13–17 June 2015 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The resident faculty will include Cathy Moran Hajo, Ondine Le Blanc, Jennifer Stertzer, and Bob Karachuk.

Cathy Moran Hajo is Associate Editor and Assistant Director of the Margaret Sanger Papers at New York University. She holds a B.A. from Ramapo College of New Jersey as well as a certificate in archival management, an M.A., and a Ph.D. from New York University. With the Sanger Papers since 1989, Hajo has helped to edit the 101 reels of the Margaret Sanger Papers Microfilm Edition, the four volumes of the Selected Papers of Margaret Sanger, and two digital publications, Margaret Sanger and The Woman Rebel and the Public Writings and Speeches of Margaret Sanger, 1911–1960. She plans to begin work as editor of the Jane Addams Papers in the fall of 2015 at Ramapo College, pending funding. Hajo is the author of Birth Control on Main Street: Organizing Clinics in the United States, 1916–1939. She teaches graduate courses in digital history at both NYU and William Paterson University. A 1990 graduate of the Editing Institute, Hajo served as ADE President from 2008 to 2009.

Ondine Le Blanc is Director of Publications at the Massachusetts Historical Society. She holds a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. At the Massachusetts Historical Society since 1997, Le Blanc has helped to publish diaries, journals, notebooks, memoirs, autobiographies, and other documentary editions. She served as project manager of the Adams Papers Digital Editions, overseeing the conversion of thirty-five separate print volumes into a single consolidated online edition. She is managing a similar effort for the six volumes of the Winthrop Papers. Le Blanc is ADE Treasurer.

Jennifer Stertzer is Senior Editor of the Papers of George Washington and Lecturer at the University of Virginia. She holds a B.A. from Florida State University and an M.A. from Appalachian State University. With the Papers of George Washington since 2000, Stertzer has served as project manager of the Papers of George Washington Digital Edition, overseeing the conversion of sixty-two separate print volumes into a single consolidated online edition. She is also spearheading the Papers of George Washington Financial Series. A 2003 graduate of the Editing Institute, Stertzer served as ADE Secretary from 2008 to 2011 and is now ADE Webmaster.

Bob Karachuk is Associate Editor of the Papers of the Revolutionary Era Pinckney Statesmen at the University of South Carolina. Karachuk holds a B.A. from Yale, an M.A. from the University of New Orleans, and a J.D. from Tulane. He has also completed the course work and general exam requirements toward a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. At the Supreme Court Historical Society from 1999 to 2004, Karachuk helped to edit two volumes of the Documentary History of the Supreme Court of the United States, 1789–1800. At the Massachusetts Historical Society from 2007 to 2012, he contributed to the publication of two volumes of the Papers of John Adams and one volume of the Adams Family Correspondence. At Mississippi State University from 2013 to 2014, he served as lead editor of the Personal Memoirs of U. S. Grant and launched the Ida Honoré Grant Correspondence, 1889­–1893. A 1999 graduate of the Editing Institute, Karachuk is ADE Education Director.
