Penn State Special Collections Travel Grants Announced
Building on the success of the last two years, Special Collections announces four travel awards of $1,500 this year
for researchers whose work would benefit from access to the collections held at Penn State.
The 2014 travel grants include:
• One award for research using any of the Special Collections Library collections;
• Two awards for research related to women writers;
• One award for research pertaining to history of the Eighth Air Force during World War II.
Awards will be selected based on the quality of proposed research and its relevance to Special Collections holdings.

The deadline for application is February 28, 2014.
Grant recipients will be announced by March 31, 2014.
Awards would apply to travel between June to August of 2014.
